This page outlines the legal policies and client guidelines that govern all coaching services provided by Guiding Growth, in accordance with South African law. Please read carefully before engaging in services.

Privacy Policy

At Guiding Growth, your privacy and confidentiality are of utmost importance. All personal information shared during coaching sessions—whether in person, online, or via written communication—is kept strictly confidential and is never shared with third parties without your written consent, except where required by law (e.g., risk of harm, abuse, or legal obligation).

We collect only the necessary information (such as your name, contact details, age, and relevant background) to provide personalized coaching. Your data is securely stored and used solely for coaching purposes, communication, and billing. You have the right to request access to, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time.

Terms and Conditions

By booking a coaching session with Guiding Growth, you agree to the following terms:

1. Services Offered

• Guiding Growth offers life coaching and relationship coaching services to teens and adults.
• Coaching is delivered in-person (where applicable) and primarily online via secure video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet or WhatsApp Video.

2. Booking & Cancellation

• Sessions are booked in advance via our online booking system or directly with Coach Georgia.
• A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full.
• Payment is due prior to or at the time of the session. Prepaid sessions are non-refundable once used or partially  used.

3. Online Coaching Services

• Clients must ensure a private, quiet, and internet-connected environment for online sessions.
• Technical issues on the client’s end  (e.g., connectivity failure) may result in a shortened or forfeited session.
• Guiding Growth is not responsible for  third-party platform issues but will make reasonable accommodations to  reschedule if needed.

4. Age Requirement

• Teen clients under 18 must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian to engage in coaching services.

5. Code of Conduct

• All sessions are conducted in a  respectful, non-judgmental, and safe space.
• Clients are expected to arrive on time and participate actively and honestly.

Disclaimer

Coaching is not therapy, counselling, or a medical service. Coaching focuses on personal development, goal-setting, mindset shifts, and emotional empowerment. While it may be therapeutic, it is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any mental or physical health conditions.

If you are experiencing severe emotional distress, mental illness, or suicidal thoughts, you are encouraged to seek help from a licensed psychologist, psychiatrist, or medical professional. Coaching can be used in tandem with therapy but does notreplace it.

Coach Georgia is a certified life coach, not a licensed mental health practitioner.

Additional Client Information

Legal Jurisdiction

All services provided by Guiding Growth fall under the legal jurisdiction of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from services will be handled in accordance with South African consumer and contract law.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including techniques and written materials, are the intellectual property of Coach Georgia at Guiding Growth. Reproduction or distribution without permission is prohibited.
